Academic Space and Facilities
The Office of the Provost is dedicated to ensuring the strategic and effective use of the University’s academic space by partnering with units across campus to identify opportunities to utilize, create, modify, and renovate academic facilities. The Provost or designee evaluates requests for allocation, reallocation, change in use, construction, remodeling, renovation, and other concerns related to academic space and facilities.

For other space-related needs on campus, please review the resources below:
- Physical Plant: The Physical Plant is responsible for the custodial, grounds, and building maintenance in addition to shipping/receiving, event set-ups, and employee moves on campus.
- Campus Reservations: The Campus Reservations Office is responsible for the scheduling of events at University facilities.
- On-Campus Student Housing: The Office of Housing and Residence Life is responsible for supporting students while they live in residence halls on campus. Residents must submit maintenance requests and work orders to the Office of Housing and Residence Life.
